In a recent interview, Green shared insights into the creative process behind his latest work and upcoming tour:

“I learned to play guitar to my granddaddy’s favorite country songs from back in the day and the new album is a throwback to the era when I first became a fan.  For this tour I was able to find some of my favorite artists and songwriters to join us, and singing with Ella every night will be a lot of fun.”

Collaborations and Industry Recognition

Green has also been making headlines for his recent collaboration with Ella Langley.  Green has wrapped his own headlining Ain’t My Last Rodeo tour, bringing out Tracy Lawrence and Ella Langley with him. Combs joined Riley on his third No. 1 single “Different ‘Round Here (Ft. Luke Combs),” the title track to Riley’s 2019 debut album that he re-recorded with Combs after seeing how fans connected to it.

An avid sports fan, former athlete (Jacksonville State University quarterback) and outdoorsman, Riley is riding a wave of success after being named the Academy of Country Music’s 2020 New Male Artist of the Year, a former MusicRow Breakout Artist of the Year, a CMT “Listen Up Artist,” and one of CRS’s 2020 New Faces. In 2023 Green served as direct support for Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs.

Riley Green and Ella Langley have joined forces for two standout duets, “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do,” both showcasing their natural chemistry and smooth blend of country vocals. “You Look Like You Love Me” is a heartfelt track that captures the tension of a fleeting romance, with Green and Langley trading lines filled with longing and uncertainty. Their voices complement each other effortlessly, bringing an emotional depth to the lyrics. Meanwhile, “Don’t Mind If I Do” takes on a more fun-loving, flirty tone, celebrating a carefree attitude and the excitement of living in the moment.
