Country music maven Reba McEntire could basically pick anyone on the planet to be her best friend, the woman is wildly popular. So who is the Oklahoman’s BEST FRIEND? None other than vocal powerhouse Kelly Clarkson!
Not only do the two women have similar career paths in common, the pair are also family— Kelly is married to Reba’s stepson Brandon Blackstock. Before tying the knot with Brandon, Kelly first met Reba back in 2002 during her American Idol days.
“Kelly and I got to tour together in 2008, it was one of the most exciting, fun tours I’ve ever been a part of… you know, I love her to pieces. She’s been one of my best friends since I met her in 2002, now she’s my daughter-in-law. She’s a wonderful person, big-hearted, always full of joy and laughter,” Reba shared while appearing on The Talk.
