Rascal Flatts supports wounded warriors across the globe and marks a career milestone.

Rascal Flatts formed in 1999 and continues to find ways to thrill their loyal fans! The superstar vocal group comprised of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney will perform at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games on May 12th at Disney World. The event is the only international competition of wounded warriors and will include about 500 athletes from 14 countries who will compete in 10 adaptive sports. The Invictus Games were founded by Prince Harry of the United Kingdom in 2014.

Besides participating in this amazing event, Rascal Flatts is celebrating their 16th career #1 as their infectious single “I Like The Sound Of That” reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts. The catchy tune is sweetly reminiscent of the trio’s early days and comes from their latest album, REWIND, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, making Rascal Flatts one of only four acts from the SoundScan era to have eight consecutive studio albums debut in the top spot.

“We’ve had a lot of fun with this single,” stated lead vocalist Gary LeVox in a press release. “It’s a blessing and humbling to be achieving milestones such as these and it just motivates us even more to keep going on this crazy journey with our amazing fans. We can’t wait to catch everybody back out on the road this summer to celebrate.”

Fans can enjoy seeing Rascal Flatts live on their upcoming RASCAL FLATTS: RHYTHM AND ROOTS TOUR also featuring Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Lane, which kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 17th. Keep up with the group’s latest updates by hitting the button below!
