Some Randy Travis Tour Plans and Dates Scrapped

'The Music of Randy Travis Tour' will start this month with some big schedule changes. Check out which dates still remain here...

According to Billboard, country music icon Randy Travis is nixing all but three dates of his The Music of Randy Travis Tour due to ‘production and content issues.’ The Evansville, Indiana (10/17), Gulfport, Mississippi (10/ 19), and Nashville, Tennessee (10/28) shows are expected to go on as planned. The Voice alum James Dupré will be filling in for Travis on vocals and the original Randy Travis Band will also be included. Dupré first became acquainted with the star on the set of the film The Price, which was filmed before Travis’s stroke in 2013, and the two have remained close through his recovery.

The set each night will feature the star’s sixteen No. 1 hit songs as well as an appearance from Randy and his wife Mary. VIP ticket holders will also get an opportunity to be around Randy before the show. Tickets are on sale here.

“It’s Just a Matter of Time” Lyrics

Someday, someway you’ll realize that you’ve been blind
Yes darling, you’re going to need me again
Its just a matter of time
Go on, go on til you reach the end of the line
Cause I know you’ll pass my way again
Its just a matter of time
After I gave you everything I had
You laughed and you called me a clown
Remember in your search for fortune and fame
What goes up must come down
I know, I know that one day you’ll wake up and find
That my love is a true love
Its just a matter of time
Words are spoken with chords played
Someday and someway
Girl you’ll realize that you’ve been blind
Yes darling, I know you gonna need me again
Its just a matter of time
Continue singing here
After I gave you everything I had
You laughed and you called me a clown
But remember in your search for fortune and fame
What goes up must come down
I know, I know that one day you’ll wake up and find
That my love was a true love
Its just a matter of time
