The Off The Rails Country Music Fest in Frisco, Texas featured artists Ashley Monroe, Chris Young, Eric Church, Blake Shelton and more during the two-day event— but an unexpected guest stole the show.

At the close of Blake Shelton‘s set, he brought musical icon Randy Travis out on stage. “Ladies and gentlemen, this is Randy Travis. You tell me miracles can’t happen…you’re looking at one right here, man,” Shelton announced to the crowd. “This is one of my heroes, and it ought to be one of your heroes. Thank you so much for being here tonight, Randy. We all love you.”

According to his manager, Travis attended the entire festival to enjoy live music, connect with fans, and reunite with old friends. Besides making the legend’s presence known, Blake Shelton took to Twitter to thank Randy Travis and his fellow peers for making the night extra special.

The 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee suffered a massive stroke in 2013 and has fought hard to walk short distances solo and is relearning how to write and play the guitar. He looks excellent and we wish him the best in his recovery!
