Country music trio Pistol Annies‘ third studio album Interstate Gospel has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart! The highly-anticipated record follows 2013’s Annie Up and 2011’s Hell on Heels.
Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley are slated to perform during the 2018 CMA Awards, which takes place on Wednesday, November 14th. The ceremony will broadcast live from Nashville at 8/7c via ABC.
“We’ve grown a lot as artists and humans in the past five years,” the group shared in a statement. “This album is more mature than our last ones, but still fun. The best way to describe Interstate Gospel is that it sounds like three women came unleashed and told a bunch of truth. We didn’t hold back and we’re proud of it. Our hope is that when people listen, they feel some of the same magic that we felt when we were writing these songs.”
