This song was originally recorded by Faron Young in 1956 and was written by Don Gibson. The single peaked at No. 5 two months after Patsy Cline’s death and became the title of the film documenting her life, starring Jessica Lange.

Patsy Cline “Walking After Midnight”

Patsy Cline’s career jumped into high gear in 1957 when she appeared on CBS’ ‘Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts.  ‘Walkin’ After Midnight,’ peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Singles chart.

Patsy Cline singing “I Fall to Pieces”

Hank Cochran and Harlan Howard composed ‘I Fall to Pieces’ in 1960 and has the distinction of becoming Pasty Cline’s first No .1 record on the Billboard Country Singles chart.

Patsy Cline heard Billy Walker singing another Willie Nelson song, ‘Funny How Time Slips Away and she asked for permission to record the song.   Walker wouldn’t part with the song and instead offered her another Nelson composition titled ‘Crazy’.  Patsy Cline recorded “Crazy” with Floyd Cramer at the piano, Grady Martin on guitar and the Jordanaires behind her to produce one of the most treasured songs of all time.
