The LeDoux family has been touched by tragedy yet again. Country music artist Ned LeDoux's daughter passed away last week. More here.
Terrible news. According to a press statement, country music artist Ned LeDoux’s daughter, Haven, passed away on Sunday, October 20th due to a choking incident at the family’s Kansas home.
“It is with great sadness that Ned & Morgan inform friends and fans that their two year old daughter Haven passed away on October 20th due to a tragic accident in the home. The LeDoux family appreciates your love and support and is requesting privacy at this time,” the singer’s Facebook Page also shared.
As country music fans know so well, Ned is the song of the late Chris LeDoux, who passed away in 2005 from bile duct cancer. Ned and his wife of eleven years, Morgan, also have an 8-year-old son named Bronson.
“Brother Highway” Lyrics
The road and I have been like brothers
all the miles and time we’ve spent together
Yeah, we’ve seen it all
We both seen changes in our time
Busted dreams and detour signs
We keep rolling on
Brother highway, we’ve seen it all
Through the wind and the rain and the snowfall
No matter how far out I roam
I need you brother to get me home
The interstate or an old dirt road
You’re in my blood, and in my soul
Well I was born to drive
On the open road is where I belong
when I’m with you I’m never wrong
Within your long white lines
Brother highway, we’ve seen it all
Through the wind and the rain and the snowfall
No matter how far out I roam
I need you brother to get me home
Now there’s no place I’d rather be
than there at home with my family
But I keep my suitcase packed
’cause you and I know it won’t be long
Those humming tires are like a song
and they keep me coming back
Brother highway, we’ve seen it all
Through the wind and the rain and the snowfall
No matter how far out I roam
I need you brother to get me home
I need you brother, to get me home
