Miranda Lambert’s brand new unplugged performance video for “Tin Man” takes place in her bathroom. C’mon, we all know that place it acoustic gold.
In the low-key black and white video, Miranda sits on her bathroom floor while strumming her acoustic guitar and singing the song’s emotional lyrics. The bathroom tile picks up the whole scene and adds a special something to the star’s somber delivery. “Tin Man” is featured on the singer-songwriter’s 2016 The Weight of These Wings album, on Disc 2, which she dubbed “The Heart.”

The touching tune, written by Lambert along with Jon Randall and Jack Ingram on her ‘magical front porch’ in Tennessee, is also a tribute to Miranda’s favorite Kenny Chesney song also titled “Tin Man.”
“This song sort of wrote itself,” the singer-songwriter shared with The Tennessean. “I was a little worried at first about writing another song like that but I told Kenny … I felt the same emotion I feel when I hear that song. I was feeling it myself and the other two co-writers were feeling it as well. It comes from the same place and I guess it inspired it.”
“Tin Man” Lyrics
Hey there Mr. Tin Man
You don’t know how lucky you are
You shouldn’t spend your whole life wishin’
For something bound to fall apart
Every time you’re feeling empty
Better thank you lucky stars
If you ever felt one breaking
You’d never want a heart
Hey there Mr. Tin Man
You don’t know how lucky you are
I’ve been on the road that you’re on
It didn’t get me very far
You ain’t missing nothing
‘Cause love is so damn hard
Take it from me darling
You don’t want a heart
Hey there Mr. Tin Man
I’m glad we talked this out
You can take mine if you want it
It’s in pieces now
By the way there Mr. Tin Man
If you don’t mind the scars
You give me your armor
And you can have my heart
