The song “Old Shit” appears on Miranda Lambert’s 2014 album Platinum. Cobb explained the story behind the song stating, “I started writing this song when my granddaddy passed away a few years back. I had a line to it on the way to the co-write, [with] someone I had never written with before, Neil Mason of the Cadillac Three”.
