Country music star Miranda Lambert is back in Tennessee celebrating her slew of CMA Awards nominations after spending last week saving animals in Texas.

Country music superstar Miranda Lambert leads the pack of her peers with five nominations going into the 2017 CMA Awards. The singer-songwriter scored nods in the Single and Song of the Year categories for “Tin Man,” as well as Music Video of the Year for “Vice.” She also earned her fourth nod for Album of the Year with The Weight of These Wings, as well as eleventh nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year.

After spending last week in the Houston area with her MuttNation Foundation crew rescuing animals from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the good news was extra sweet. Lambert posted a snapshot featuring two of her fur-babies to Instagram with a heartfelt message about how she was marking the occasion at her Tennessee farm.

“Good mornin! At the farm celebrating the @cma nominations over coffee with 7 of my best friends.” she shared. “I’m so thankful. Especially after an emotional week in my home state. Country Music and animals is are my absolute life and my heart. Thank you fans, friends, family and Nashville for always supporting me. Now off to put some Bailey’s in this Folgers cup! Why not? Cheers y’all!”

After all she’s done over the last couple of weeks, the lady deserves some Bailey’s in her coffee! Here’s a little recap of what the Texan has been up to in her home state…
