Country music trio Midland has earned the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top Country Album Sales chart with their debut album On The Rocks. The 13-track collection was co-written by Midland along with with Grammy award-winning writer/producer Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.
The achievement comes merely weeks after the band landed atop the country radio airplay chart with their debut, Gold-certified single “Drinkin’ Problem.” Country radio continues to embrace Midland’s modern throwback sound in a big way by making the band’s second single, “Make A Little,” the most added song on playlists from coast-to-coast for two consecutive weeks.
