Country music star Carrie Underwood doesn’t have to worry about her husband, Mike Fisher, trying music as his next career. Watch the recently retired Nashville Predators star try his best to sing along with his wife’s powerful single, “Cry Pretty,” below!
âYou gonna start your new career as a country singer, babe?â Underwood asks her hubby while the family drives around.
âIâve heard that many times, no, no, no, no, no….â Mike replied while belting it out and 3-year-old Isaiah can be heard laughing in the background.
Underwood captioned the video clip shared on Instagram, âSounds just like the originalâŚđ¤Şâ
Guess Mike will have to look beyond a recording career and possibly a comedy career as well…
We want to hear his jokes… Anyway, over the weekend Mike rang in his 38th birthday with a custom “Catchin’ Deers” birthday cake made by one of Carrie’s best friends, Ivey Childers.
Mike also got to enjoy watching his wife totally rock out her CMA Fest appearance.
According to The Tennessean, Carrie turned in her upcoming album Cry Pretty to her new record label, Universal Music Group Nashville.
âIt feels very much like itâs a new season for me,â Underwood shared with the news outlet behind the scenes at CMA Fest. âI started working on (the album) last year and spread out my writing a lot more. Even if Iâm not on tour, thereâs always so much to do. Iâd write for a week or two, go somewhere to do something else and then come back. It was interesting how this writing went.â
The star is currently waiting on feedback regarding her latest project.
âItâs just that scary point when itâs done and youâre like, âOh, is it good? I think it is,â â she added. âBut then youâre letting other people see what youâve been working on for what feels like two-and-a-half years. Itâs just nervousness.â
As previously revealed, Cry Pretty is due out on September 14th. The Oklahoman has also hinted that a tour announcement is on the way, but no official details have been made public yet.
