Brad Paisley’s wife is an accomplished actress, philanthropist and mother to their two sons. Brad Paisley first caught a glimpse of his future wife, actress Kimberly Williams, while watching 1991’s Father of the Bride with a former girlfriend. Needless to say, that girlfriend was long gone by the time Father of the Bride Part II came out in 1995. Paisley went to see that film solo. In a 2009 interview with Good Housekeeping magazine, Brad confessed that he was drawn to Kimberly on the silver screen and that he thought, “she seems like a great girl — smart and funny and all those things that are so hard to find.”
The couple met in 1999 when Kimberly Williams starred in Brad Paisley’s music video for “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song).” Brad was immediately drawn to Kimberly’s beauty and personality, and the two quickly hit it off. They began dating soon after, and it wasn’t long before Brad knew that Kimberly was the one for him.
In 2002, Brad proposed to Kimberly during a family trip to Venice, Italy. He got down on one knee and presented her with a beautiful diamond ring. Kimberly, of course, said yes, and the two began planning their wedding.
