Country music artist Luke Combs is hitting his stride in the country music industry. He was just named the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards “Best New Country Artist,” and now he is planning his first-ever international headlining tour!
This October, Combs will be taking his talents across the world to the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Germany. Tickets quickly sold out in Glasgow just minutes after going on sale last Friday, and tickets went fast for London’s show as well in Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Luckily, he added a second show to give his UK fans more tickets and play at the infamous venue for one more day.
The emerging country singer has also scored an 2018 ACM Awards nomination for “New Male Vocalist of the Year” and is a Platinum-selling artist. He is currently on the road for his sold-out debut headlining tour that has 55 stops! The North Carolina native found recent success with his third radio single, “One Number Away.” It quickly reached Top 20, and Vulture praised Combs as one of the “brightest rising stars this year.”
Combs surprised many festival-goers with the news of his fall headlining tour during his time playing the C2C Festival, which reached max-crowds in London, Dublin, and Glasgow. The fans in the arena full of 15,000 people sang back his songs, including his Platinum hit “Hurricane” and “When It Rains It Pours.” They also seemed to know his unreleased tracks, like “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” and other fan favorites from his first EPs, like “She Got The Best Of Me” and “Can I Get An Outlaw.”
He’s staying busy this month as he continues his time traveling and singing internationally and will head to Europe later this year. He will be going to Australia for the first time soon, performing in the CMC Rocks festival in Queensland and headlining shows in Melbourne and Newtown. Before heading overseas in the fall, he will join Jason Aldean for his upcoming tour.
