Country music entertainer Luke Bryan's mother, LeClaire, is one of the many individuals picking up the pieces after Hurricane Michael. More here.

Country music superstar Luke Bryan‘s mother LeClaire‘s Mexico Beach, Florida, home was one of the many damaged by Hurricane Michael, which rocked the state’s panhandle on October 10th.

“Hey everyone. Pray for my people. So many dear people I know are being affected. My mother and so many friends live in Mexico beach. And now it’s bearing down on Albany and Leesburg,” Luke Bryan shared via Instagram as the Category 4 hurricane was bearing down on the region.

Fortunately, LeClaire was safe in Tennessee with her family when the storm made landfall. Being forced out of your home isn’t exactly what you’d want for your birthday, but LeClaire looked to be making the best out of her situation while hanging out with daughter-in-law, Caroline.

It’s someone’s birthday…but I think Choc is more excited!

As reported by multiple news outlets and captured in photos, LeClaire recently returned to Mexico Beach to survey the status of her property and surrounding neighborhood. So far, Luke Bryan or his representatives have not detailed the extent of the damage. The images of LeClaire looking over the extensive destruction just hurt your heart.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by Hurricane Michael. Besides extensive physical damage, the natural disaster has also claimed approximately 30 lives.

“Most People Are Good” Lyrics

I believe kids oughta stay kids as long as they can
Turn off the screen, go climb a tree, get dirt on their hands
I believe we gotta forgive and make amends
‘Cause nobody gets a second chance to make new old friends
I believe in working hard for what you’ve got
Even if it don’t add up to a hell of a lot
I believe most people are good
And most mama’s oughta qualify for sainthood
I believe most Friday nights look better under neon or stadium lights
I believe you love who you love
Ain’t nothing you should ever be ashamed of
I believe this world ain’t half as bad as it looks
I believe most people are good
I believe them streets of gold are worth the work
But I still wanna go even if they were paved in dirt
I believe that youth is spent well on the young
‘Cause wisdom in your teens would be a lot less fun
I believe if you just go by the nightly news
Your faith in all mankind would be the first thing you lose
I believe most people are good
And most mama’s oughta qualify for sainthood
I believe most Friday nights look better under neon or stadium lights
I believe you love who you love
Ain’t nothing you should ever be ashamed of
I believe this world ain’t half as bad as it looks
I believe most people are good
I believe that days go slow and years go fast
And every breath’s a gift, the first one to the last
I believe most people are good
And most mama’s oughta qualify for sainthood
I believe most Friday nights look better under neon or stadium lights
I believe you love who you love
Ain’t nothing you should ever be ashamed of
I believe this world ain’t half as bad as it looks
I believe most people are good
I believe most people are good
I believe most people are good
