While participating during Nashville's Country Radio Seminar, Luke Bryan thanked fans and the country music community for their support.

Country music star Luke Bryan expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support after the death of his young niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, earlier this week.

“Thank you so much for all your prayers coming out to me and my family the last couple of days,” Bryan shared while attending the Universal Music Group’s CRS luncheon held at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday. “I’ll tell you what, when I’m checking my socials and see so many of you guys … that are kind of lifting my family up, I really appreciate it. It means the world to me.”

Sadie, born in July 2016, was the daughter of Caroline Boyer Bryan’s brother Bo Boyer and his wife Ellen. The infant suffered from heart issues and also was battling an infection that impacted her liver.

In lieu of flowers, Bo and Ellen are asking that donations be sent to:
Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Endowment Fund
At Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt
2200 Childrens Way
Nashville, TN 37232

Vanderbilt is where Sadie received top-notch care throughout her life. You can also view her touching ‘Celebration of Life’ entry and make a donation to the worthy Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee here.

Our thoughts and prayers continue for this family.
