While appearing on the The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Wednesday night, 2017 ACM Awards co-hosts Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley went big and performed country legend Merle Haggard‘s 1977 hit “Ramblin’ Fever.”
“We love Merle Haggard … He’s an icon,” Bentley explained before kicking off the classic tune. “Haggard was such a diverse — his sound was so diverse — a lot of saxophones in his music, and horn instruments, so we’re gonna combine our thing with y’all’s, with these guys, and see what happens.”
