Here’s a fun fact for you about Little Big Town’s smash hit “Better Man”— it was written by former country music darling, Taylor Swift!
The dynamic pop crossover artist envisioned having a hearty harmony for the tune and contacted the country quartet to ask their opinion of her new piece. The song fit in perfectly with their upcoming project at the time, The Breaker album. Though Taylor was not involved in the actual recording of “Better Man,” the band kept her involved in the production of her creation.
Little Big Town recently sat down with Radio.com to talk about their collaboration with T-Swift and what went on behind the scenes. Watch their talk below:
“Better Man” is featured on Little Big Town’s most recent album The Breaker, which was released on February 14, 2017. The song has enjoyed immense success since its release, peaking at No.1 on Billboard’s Country Music charts and at no. 34 on the Hot 100 chart.
