Country music group Little Big Town totally knocked their rendition of Elton John’s “Rocket Man” out of the park and into outer space! What better song than “Rocket Man” to be ‘countrified’? The popular tune describes an apprehensive worker who has mixed emotions about leaving his loved ones behind to do his job, a theme that can be found within the country music world as well. Little Big Town’s version of the track is full of rich harmonies and an a capella sound that truly does the song justice.

The Restoration: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin (Nashville Edition) album will be released on April 6th, the same day as the pop-filled ‘Revamp’ album drops. The pop edition of the project features artists such as Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, and Miley Cyrus. On April 10th the star-studded television special I’m Still Standing: A Grammy Salute to Elton John will air on CBS.
