Emerging country music artist Lexi Lauren, 15, is the master of her emotions and lets her audience into her world one note at a time. Being honest through her music and on social media is an outlet for her to share her own experiences in an effort to inspire others. At 10-years-old, Lexi began writing songs on the guitar, and throughout her life has been inspired by artists such as Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, and Alessia Cara for their lyrical honesty.
In 2017, Lexi started posting videos of her singing on Musical.ly and gained over 150k followers in less than 75 days. This unexpected success inspired Lexi to release her debut original song “Don’t Text” in May 2017. The song, which Lexi co-wrote, premiered on Radio Disney, and was mixed by Grammy winner Dave Clauss whose credits include Maren Morris, Keith Urban, and Justin Bieber. More recently, Lexi released her own version of country music icon Dolly Parton’s song “Hard Candy Christmas” to celebrate the holiday season. She is currently working on new original music and her upcoming single “Beside Me” is set to be released in early 2018.
