Country music songbird Lauren Alaina and her longtime love Alex Hopkins are now engaged to be married! The pair shared their happy news via social media.
“Being yours forever has a nice “RING” to it. #HoppilyEverHopkins @_alex_hopkins WE ARE ENGAGED. EEEK. 💍❤️” Lauren cleverly captioned the snapshot showing off her gorgeous engagement ring.
Alex also shared the same picture, adding, “Ladies and gentleman, may I present to you for the first time, the future Mrs. Lauren Hopkins.”
The soon-to-be bride and groom are both 23-years-old and have been together since 2012. That’s right, they have been a couple since they were just 17-years-old. How adorable it that?!
“He is my best friend. He’s like an actual angel on earth. He’s the most attractive man I have ever seen. Like every time I look at him — I mean, the older we get, the more attractive he gets and I’m starting to be like, ‘Glad we met at 17 because you are way cuter than me,’” Lauren hilariously spilled to Taste of Country back in May.
