Country music trio Lady Antebellum's upcoming co-headlining tour will also involve their six kids coming along on the road!
This summer, Lady Antebellum will be traversing the United States on a co-headlining tour with country music star Darius Rucker. Despite the Summer Plays On Tour being the country band’s sixth headlining tour, this one will be different for the band’s members.
Since Lady Antebellum last hit the road, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood‘s families have welcomed new babies into their households Scott gave birth to twin daughters, Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn Tyrrell, on January 29th, and Dave Haywood’s wife, Kelli, delivered their daughter Lillie on December 22nd. Prior to the addition of the three adorable babies, each band member had one child each. The newborn babies join Eisele Tyrrell, 4, Cash Haywood, 3, and Ward Kelley, 2. Now, the total number of children comes to six! Guess what— they are all coming on tour!
“We always want to put family first. We adjust. We always have. It’s like a traveling road family out there, and yeah, they almost are like little siblings already, so it’ll be interesting,” Charles Kelly shared with American Country Countdown.
“The [older] kids have been out a lot on tour, so they play together great,” Dave Haywood revealed. “It’s super cute. Eisele’s the leader of the bunch, and Cash and Ward are following her around, which is super cute to watch. But to think about the fact that there will be six is just really weird to even say.”
