Country music artist and domestic goddess Kimberly Schlapman just launched her new line of cookware called Love & Daisies. The Little Big Town band member has a passion for cooking and started the project through the Home Shopping Network. HSN is more than happy to help bring Schlapman’s culinary expertise into the spotlight!
The 47-year-old mother of two girls, Daisy and Dolly, has already made big waves on stage and in the kitchen, now she has her heart set on launching a successful collection of kitchenware. The collection includes essentials like pans, knife sets and other cooking utensils, but Schlapman puts her own twist on the design. She was inspired by flea market finds from her childhood as well as her love for all things culinary. The designs are whimsical, but simple.
Check out what some of the pans look like from the Love & Daisies collection!
Schlapman also passed down her cooking passion to her oldest daughter, Daisy, whose name is part of the new collection title! From a young age, Daisy liked to mix and invent her own recipes. Unfortunately, she tended to include too much baking soda in everything. Her parents were nice enough to try all of the test-run recipes, even if they had to fake it. Schlapman says Daisy still makes her own recipes, but they are much tastier now!
The Love & Daisies collection follows the release of her first cookware line, “Oh! Gussie.” The line name also became her Instagram handle. Her original line of kitchenware and home goods are sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations. Look at some of her designs from the Oh! Gussie collection below!
Kimberly Schlapman recently appeared on the Home Shopping Network to show off her new line of cookware. Fans of Little Big Town seem to be loving her new designs and cooking style. One fan, Phillip Sweet (yes, her LBT bandmate), actually called into the show to talk about her products. He told Kimberly to make more of the pink cookware and also warned others that some of the products are selling out quick!
Though she’s making strides in the culinary business and busy with her music career, Schlapman still sees cooking as a nice break when she wants to get away from the spotlight. Little Big Town’s latest single, “Happy People,” would be a perfect song to jam out to while cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Check out the song below and listen to Kimberly Schlapman put one of her many passions to work!
