Country music star Kenny Chesney is known for making fans feel as if it's always summertime. More here on how he balances easy living with hard work!
Country music superstar Kenny Chesney’s voice instantly puts listeners at ease and his music often carries hallmarks of an island dweller’s attitude. This makes perfect sense due to the Tennessee native’s love of the Caribbean, where he also often resides.
“There was a time that I was so busy, from 2000 to 2008, I was literally so busy on the road and then I would leave the tour and then I would go south. So, there were two or three years where I was never even in Nashville really, just for a couple of days. I would literally pack to come home because I was either there or I was on the road,” Kenny shared while appearing on The Bobby Bones Show.
Regardless of the star’s geographical location, the island way of life will always impact his music in some shape or form.
“I think it is very much an authentic part of my life. I mean, a huge part of my music and my creative spirit and my soul. But I’m not there as much as people think I am. I work really hard and I’m on the bus a lot,” Kenny revealed with a laugh.
