While appearing on Good Morning America in late July, country music songstress Kelsea Ballerini revealed the title and release date for her highly-anticipated sophomore album Unapologetically which will hit store shelves on November 3rd. Even better, the young Tennessee native has just unveiled the project’s album cover and will make the track list public sometime this week via the Foursquare Swarm app.

“[Unapologetically] is about years 21 through 23,” Kelsea shared with Nash Country Daily. “It really is. It starts with a gross breakup that I had. It talks about the darkness of that. I haven’t really . . . ‘Peter Pan’ is like as much of a breakup as I went into on the first record, because that’s really the only feeling of a breakup that I’d had at that point. This one definitely gets darker than that. But then it takes you through the darkness of that, the bounce back from that, into just growing up and finding who I am as a young girl. New insecurities that I have, all of that, into meeting [fiancé] Morgan [Evans] and getting engaged. It talks about all of it.”
In addition to performing “Legends” and “Unapologetically” for her loyal fans this summer, Ballerini has also been busy performing a slew of unreleased songs live, such as “I Hate Love Songs,” “Roses” and “High School.” At least one track on the album will feature the background vocals of her Australian musician husband-to-be, Morgan Evans.
Ballerini is currently trekking across the United States and Europe on Lady Antebellum‘s You Look Good World Tour. A complete tour schedule is available on her website here. In June, Ballerini released “Legends” as the first single from her upcoming second studio album.
