Most women report that planning their wedding can be a stressful event, however that is not the case with country music singer Kelsea Ballerini.
Ballerini reported to PEOPLE that her wedding planning was “pretty much done”, which is pretty impressive considering both bride and groom are putting out new musical projects right now.
“We’re getting close,” said Ballerini of the wedding planning completion. “He has a single to put out. I have an album to put out beforehand, so we’re both very busy, but I think we’re pretty much done. I have the dress. We have the place. We have the plane ticket. We’re ready to go.”
Ballerini has even checked “Bachelorette Party” off the to-do list, having hers recently in Las Vegas with a bunch of her girlfriends, which included a photo-op with Jennifer Lopez.
Ballerini and Morgan Evans announced their wedding engagement to their fans on Christmas day of last year (2016).
“On March 12th I met and hosted an awards show with @morganevansmusic…” Ballerini wrote on Instagram.
“This morning, 9 months and 13 days later, he got down on one knee in the kitchen while I was burning pancakes and asked me to marry him. Loving him has been the greatest gift of my life. And now I get to do it for life. #HECALLEDDIBS”
Ballerini is keeping most of the wedding details private, much to the dismay of her interested fans. She did mention a plane ticket being involved which could mean an overseas wedding, perhaps even in her future-husband’s homeland of Australia.
For the time being, Ballerini is very focused on the release of her upcoming album titled Unapologetically, which will be available on November 3rd of this year.
The album will feature the already popular song “Legends”, along with 11 other tracks. Ballerini has said that “Legends” is a very meaningful song for her and shows how far she has come.
“It’s cool because I feel like when I wrote this song, I wrote it from the perspective of a breakup,” Ballerini told Rolling Stone Country. “Now I’m in such a different place in my life that, to me at least, it’s a love song about a love that you look back on that doesn’t even necessarily have to end. It’s also kind of a song for my fans.”
