Country music singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini unveiled her official “I Hate Love Songs” music video on the Nissan Stadium big screen Friday night during CMA Fest in Nashville. The Tennessee native’s playful new video was directed by Traci Goudie and portrays her lighthearted, yet sassy personality as she teases the clichés of romance.
“I really wanted to do something kinda funny. I feel like we’ve done a lot of the, like, story videos and the super glam videos, but what I loved about the treatment was it took lines from the song and just kinda made it real life,” Ballerini explained to iHeartRadio.
Ballerini’s real-life husband, Morgan Evans, even makes a little cameo at the end of the clip. Enjoy the music video below!
