The Late Night with Seth Meyers host invited the vocal powerhouse to spend the afternoon with him New York City and down quite a few adult beverages. After kicking off their escapades with beer, Seth then made mixed drinks based on Kelly’s musical career. The first drink was inspired by former American Idol judge Simon Cowell and contained plenty of hot sauce and peppers. Yes, the two slammed it and felt the burn.
Eventually, Kelly played bartender and made a concoction inspired by her fellow The Voice coach and friend, Blake Shelton. The drink contained bourbon, Tennessee whiskey, Southern Comfort, and also “b-a-n-a-n-a-s” as a nod to his romance with Gwen Stefani.
Yeah, that drink was ‘interesting’ and had Kelly calling for toothpaste to improve her breath!

Oh man, this video just needs to be put on loop when encountering a bad day. The cognitive test portion was pure gold and Kelly’s “F” word naming fail was awesome. We’ve learned two things from this bit— Seth and Kelly need to collaborate more and Seth should never be allowed to sing again.
