Country singer and television personality Kellie Pickler is all for trying something new and putting herself out there. After all, the North Carolina native was a competitor on American Idol AND won Dancing with the Stars back in 2013. She recently turned up at the 101st Airborne’s Sabalauksi Air Assault School at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to take on some of their training!

Pickler’s try did result in some success— she was able to rappel down a 34-foot wall all by herself and crawling under barb-wire in the dirt. When failure presented itself, she took it all in stride with a sense of humor.
This training course challenge highlights the entertainer’s ongoing passion for the United States military. So far, Kellie has gone on 11 USO tours in support of the troops!
