Country music superstar Keith Urban's Grammy Awards night was missing his favorite date... wife Nicole Kidman! More here...

Country music superstar Keith Urban‘s Grammy Awards appearance didn’t include his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, joining him this time around.

“My wife is home with the flu,” Urban shared during PeopleTV’s red carpet pre-show. “A lot of that going around.”

“She’s home with our girls tonight and I’m heading home ASAP,” the star added.

We’re glad to hear that Nicole was back home in Nashville recovering with the help of their two daughters, 11-year-old Sunday Rose and 9-year-old Faith Margaret. It’s no fun trying to travel while sick or being stuck at home all alone.

Besides addressing Nicole’s absence, Keith also revealed that he will be putting out a lot of his own music this year.

“I can’t really categorize it,” Urban explained about his new music. “So I love people being able to decide what it is.”
