Country music superstar Keith Urban sweetly turned to social media to wish his youngest daughter, Faith Margaret, a very happy seventh birthday!
How cute— and how scenic! The skyscrapers of Sydney, Australia can be spotted behind the light-up number seven in the snapshot. Even more adorable, Urban calls his little girl by her nickname, ‘Feef.’
Nicole Kidman also took to her official Facebook Page to share a special birthday message to her daughter, “Happy Birthday to our baby girl who is now 7. You are so gentle and kind and loving and bring us joy joy joy darling girl. It is a blessing to be your parents.”
As discussed previously, the Kidman-Urban family has opted to spend the holiday season enjoying the warmer weather in ‘the land Down Under.’
“We go back to Australia,” Kidman shared with Us Weekly before the holidays kicked off. “My mother and my husband’s mother both live in Australia so we go back home. My sister, and [I], we have a big summer Christmas, which I know sounds bizarre to Americans.”
Nicole’s mother, Janelle, lives in Sydney, and Keith’s mother, Marienne, resides in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
We don’t blame them one bit for trading out the bitter cold in Tennessee for sun and sand in Australia. We’re sure their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, enjoy their time at the beach.
Though Keith and Nicole are both international superstars, the pair work hard to keep their daughters out of the limelight and give them a normal upbringing.
“I’ve never taken them anywhere publicly because I’m protective of their identities and don’t want them exposed early on. But part of me is pulled in that direction. Sometimes they say, ‘I wish I was getting dressed up and going with you.’ I don’t want them not included,” Kidman candidly shared with Vogue in August.
The couple takes any opportunity to spend time with their children. Kidman added, “In our private life, they’re always involved with us. I don’t like the whole kids’-club thing.” Urban and Kidman set a good example for their girls and spending time together as a family is the most important part of their overall happiness.
“Our life here probably isn’t what you expect,” she shared about their Nashville ‘home base.’ “I read at the school. We’re a very tight-knit family—we get anxious if we’re separated more than two days. We try to have sit-down dinners every night we’re here. Friends from school come over. Sometimes we’ll have nine kids for dinner. I can live out my fantasy of having lots of children.”
What a neat family. Happy Birthday week, Faith!
