Country music superstar Keith Urban recently admitted that he took his fashion inspiration directly from from Dwight Yoakam in the early days in his career.
“I told Dwight, ‘I hate saying this, Dwight, but I have a publicity picture of me from 1990 where I got tight stonewashed jeans with Conchos all the way up the side of my pants and a Bolero type suit jacket with the bolo tie and the snakeskin boots, I’ve got it all going on. I’m ‘Dwighting’ it to the hilt,” Urban shared during an interview with CMT following Stagecoach where he performed with the icon.
Yes, Urban created a new verb.

While Keith has developed his own personal style over the years, it’s clear that his love for Dwight hasn’t diminished one bit. His face while sharing the stage with the 61-year-old artist really says it all!
