Over the next few months, country music phenom Keith Urban and special musical guest Kelsea Ballerini will play shows together in 58 different North American cities. The Graffitti U World Tour commences June 15 in St. Louis, Missouri. A whopping 48 of the stops will be in the United States, while 10 shows will be played in Canadian cities. Throughout the years, the New Zealand native has played countless shows throughout the US and Canada. Of course, he’s also made a few stops down under in Australia and New Zealand. On top of North America and Oceania, Urban has also played a few shows in Europe. However, now he’s got new plans…
“We’re hoping to get over to a lot of the Asian countries [in the future],” Keith Urban recently told American Country Countdown. “Id like to get to a lot of those. We haven’t been over there and played. We have done Europe many years ago, but it’s been a long time, too, like Germany and Scotland and Ireland and all through the U.K.”
Despite the language barrier, Keith Urban believes country music, and his music specifically, will still do well in Asia.
“There’s a feeling that, for me personally, that the kind of music that we play, there’s a melodicism, strong melodicism, in what we do,” Urban says. “Particularly in a place like Singapore and Indonesia and a lot of those places that are kind of neighbors of ours in Australia –they’re not that far away. It’s just a place that I’ve always wanted to tour, and then, of course, you know, China and Japan. All through there.”
An Asian tour sounds like a blast! If anyone can pull it off in the country music genre, it would be Keith Urban!
Listen to Keith Urban’s latest tune “Parallel Lines” below…
“Parallel Lines” Lyrics
You said “I love you” to me
I don’t know what that means
So frozen my feet
People use it too carelessly
And I couldn’t believe
That you would dive in so deep
And you said perfectly
Everything I’ve been feeling for you, and about you
It’s time to break the chains that held me back from you
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, I literally don’t mind
Just please don’t misplace it
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, baby be mine now
Baby, be mine now
Maybe it’s time we put our hearts in a parallel line
Well I was never the type
To put it all on the line
But I’ve been changing my mind since you opened my eyes
It was the way that the light
Picked you out of that night
Then you were right by my side
Put a soul in my body
And now it’s time to close the space between the two of us
So come on and
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, I literally don’t mind
Just please don’t misplace it
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, baby be mine now
Baby, be mine now
Maybe it’s time we put our hearts in a parallel line
Oh baby it’s time
Oh it’s time
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, I literally don’t mind
Just please don’t misplace it
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, baby be mine now
Baby, be mine now
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, I literally don’t mind
Just please don’t misplace it
Take a little bit of my
Heart tonight
No, baby be mine now
Baby, be mine now
