Rising country music hit-maker Kane Brown‘s self-titled debut album has notched its 8th week at #1 on Billboard’s ‘Top Country Albums’ chart. Since the records released on December 2, 2016, no other country album has held the #1 slot for more weeks. So far in 2018, the singer-songwriter has held the #1 album position for 6 out of 8 weeks.
The entertainer’s Gold-certified current single “Heaven” is also #1 for a second consecutive week on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart, and it climbs to #12 on Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase country airplay charts. Last week, the song replaced the star’s Double-Platinum certified “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina at the top of the chart.
For the upcoming ACM Awards, Kane Brown is nominated in the ‘New Male Vocalist of the Year’ and ‘Vocal Collaboration’ (for “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina) categories. The ceremony will broadcast live from Las Vegas on April 15th via CBS.
On October 28, 2017, Brown became the first-ever to achieve #1 on Billboard’s five country charts simultaneously, including Top Country Albums (Kane Brown Deluxe Edition); Country Digital Song Sales (“Heaven”); and Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs, and Country Streaming Songs (“What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina). The star’s self-titled debut album remains country’s #1 best-selling new-artist album debut since 2014.

“Heaven” Lyrics
This is perfect
Come kiss me one more time
I couldn’t dream this up
Even if I tried
You and me in this moment
Feels like magic only
I’m right where I wanna be
Everybody’s talking about heaven like they just can’t wait to go
Saying how it’s gonna be so good, so beautiful
Lying next to you, in this bed with you, I ain’t convinced
‘Cause, I don’t know how, I don’t know how heaven, heaven
Could be better than this
I swear you’re an angel
Sent to this world
What did I do right to deserve you, girl?
I could stay here forever
I’d be fine if we never had to even leave this room
Everybody’s talking about heaven like they just can’t wait to go
Saying how it’s gonna be so good, so beautiful
Lying next to you, in this bed with you, I ain’t convinced
‘Cause, I don’t know how, I don’t know how heaven, heaven
Could be better than this
Could be better than this
Everybody’s talking about heaven like they just can’t wait to go
Saying how it’s gonna be so good, so beautiful
Lying next to you, in this bed with you, I ain’t convinced
‘Cause, I don’t know how, I don’t know how heaven, heaven
Could be better than this (heaven)
Could be better than this (heaven, heaven)
I swear, this is perfect
Come kiss me one more time
