Country newcomer Jordan Davis has watched his hit song, “Singles You Up,” peak at No. 1 on the country airplay charts this week. Since the release of the song it has taken the world by storm and has numbers reaching over 120M total wide streams after just a month on several music platforms.
“From the bottom of my heart, I’m so grateful to the fans, country radio and everyone who helped make ‘Singles You Up’ the number one song in the country,” Jordan shared via an Instagram post. “Thank you for making this past year the best year of my life.”
Not only is “Singles You Up” claiming the No. 1 spot a huge accomplishment for Jordan, he also released his debut album entitled Home State which achieved the highest-selling debut album for a solo country artist this year. Adding to his talents and making the victory just a little bit sweeter— Jordan co-wrote all 12 tracks!
Solidifying Jordan as a singer-songwriter to watch is his nomination for “Nashville Artist-Writer of the Year” from the Association of Independent Music Publishers after winning The Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Abe Olman Scholarship for Excellence two years ago.
