California native Jon Pardi‘s new single, “Heartache on the Dance Floor,” is the third release off of his 2016 album, California Sunrise. The catchy tune tells the story of a guy falling for a eye-catching redhead at a small bar in “some little West Coast town.” The song co-written by Pardi with Bart Butler and Brice Long leaves listeners wondering if the smitten protagonist ever tracks down the woman who caught his eye with her moves on the dance floor.
“Heartache on the Dance Floor” is the follow-up to two number one hits, “Dirt on My Boots” and “Head Over Boots.”
