Country music singer-songwriter Jon Pardi has his heart set on recording a duet with country star Miranda Lambert. More on his efforts here!

Rising country music star Jon Pardi is wishing for Miranda Lambert to join him in creating his next album by singing a duet! Who can blame him?!

Pardi recently talked with CMT’s Cody Alan about his upcoming album. The country singer expressed his confidence (to Alan) in getting Lambert to sign up for a duet. He explained that he is pretty positive the Texas native will accept his request. Fun fact: Lambert actually wrote the song Pardi wants to sing with her!

Jon told Alan, “I’m working on it, but we did hand shakes. You know Miranda – she’s a Texan. A handshake goes a long way. There might be some collaboration on the next album. I’m really excited.”

The hopeful artist will be spending plenty of time with Lambert as he is currently one of the opening acts for her Livin’ Like Hippies tour! He will accompany the songstress at every stop! This gives Pardi just enough time to convince Lambert to accept his proposal.

#LivinLikeHippiesTour with @MirandaLambert kicks off this week. Can’t wait to get the year started, #Pardianimals! Tickets and VIP packages still available up on the website.
