Country music artist John Rich, most famously of of the band Big & Rich, hosted a holiday gathering that raised more than $187,000 for Folds of Honor. Folds of Honor is an organization that funds educational scholarships for families of military men and women who have fallen or are disabled while on active duty.
Rich’s “Holidays for Heroes” event included a silent auction and recognized honored military members and their families. Rich presented the check on behalf of his alcohol brand, Redneck Riviera Whiskey, which donates a percentage of every sale to Folds of Honor. All together Redneck Riviera Whiskey and John Rich have provided 37 scholarships to Folds of Honor.
