Georgia native Jason Aldean has always considered himself to be a fairly private guy, well as private as he can be while being a country music megastar!
In March 2015, Aldean married second wife Brittany Kerr after a very rocky start to their relationship. Kerr was seen as “the other woman” after being caught getting close to her future husband before he was divorced from his now ex-wife and mother of his two daughters, Jessica Ussery.
Now things have normalized in Aldean’s personal life and the couple have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
Aldean recently opened up about how his wife has made him a better performer and has helped him connect more with his fans.
“I give her a lot of credit for making me open up a little more when it comes to social media and stuff like that,” Aldean recently shared with Rare Country.
“I’ve always kind of been pretty private and, I don’t know, I’ve just always been weird about that stuff. I’m like, ‘I don’t think people care what I’m having for dinner. I’m not going to take a picture of it, they don’t care about that stuff.’ And she just has fun with it.”
“We’ll do different things and I start to see that people actually do like that kind of stuff and so it makes me have a different mindset about it.” Aldean continued.
Aldean’s fans are very happy he is sharing more personal things such as his adorable buddy “Boss”— big thanks to Brittany for the inspiration!
Aldean recently earned his 19th #1 single with “Any Ol’ Barstool” which makes the song the third consecutive #1 off his latest album They Don’t Know. Aldean is currently on his They Don’t Know Tour which kicked off recently to three sold out shows.
“Our adrenaline was pumping to get back on that stage, and the first weekend crowds were right there giving it back to us,” said Aldean about the sold out shows.
“They were loud and clear that they were ready to have a good time…if this weekend was any indication of what’s in store for the rest of the year, we are in for a great time.”
