This time the new Aldean family addition isn’t of the canine variety— that’s right, Jason Aldean and wife of two years Brittany Kerr are having their first baby together! Of course their surprise official announcement included pooches Boss and Mia along with an actual “bun in the oven”…
In February, the couple sat down to answer a series of questions from fans. Like any married couple, they got the always looming âwhen are you having babiesâ question.
âWeâre working on it⊠I like working on it,â the country star cheekily responded. Apparently, they weren’t kidding.
This is Brittany’s first child and Jason’s third, he has two daughters, 14-year-old Keeley and 9-year-old Kendyl, with ex-wife Jessica Ussery whom he was married to from 2001 to 2013.
In a December 2016 interview with Rolling Stone, the country music hit-maker Jason Aldean got candid when it came to his wishes for his children and his goals as an artist.
âWhen my kids get older, I want them to be able to look back at what I did and realize this was my mark. Now they donât necessarily get it. Iâm just Dad and Iâve been doing this since theyâve been around. âWhatever, Dad, youâve got another show,’â the star humorously quipped about his legacy.
No matter what happens in the future, the superstar feels that he is truly blessed already, âIf it ended tomorrow, I have already accomplished more than I ever thought I could or dreamed of. I provided a great life for my family. To me, thatâs what itâs about. And hopefully the next generation comes along of guys weâve influenced.â
We can’t wait to meet Jason and Brittany’s first child together. We’re sure Jason’s legacy will live on through his work and his adorable kids— no worries there, Mr. Aldean.
