The Jameson Rodgers Some Girls song was released in 2019 on his self titled album. Jameson was born and raised in Batesville, Mississippi and enjoyed both baseball and music at a young age. After transferring to the University of Southern Mississippi he started writing songs with his roommates and performing them live in their newly formed college band. Shortly after graduation he moved to Nashville and began honing his songwriting skills by co-writing and playing writers rounds as often as possible. Jameson saw his first cut “Wish You Were On It” on Florida Georgia Line’s “Dig Your Roots” album. 2016 also saw the release of his independent debut EP. He toured in support of his EP opening shows for Sam Hunt, Eli Young Band, and Old Dominion.
