What’s better than enjoying a delicious donut? Sharing a sweet treat with your adorable daughter!
Country music star Jake Owen and his 5-year-old daughter, Pearl, attended a special ‘father-daughter donut day’ event at her school this week.
“I spent this morning taking my little girl to school because it was daddy daughter donut 🍩 day. It was pretty awesome looking around at all the other Dads…being Dads…She reminded me I’m 24 years old, and also reminded me to cherish this time in a woman’s life when they don’t care if they have chocolate frosting all over their face,” Owen shared on Instagram along with photos from his special ‘date.’
This singer also shared that he went back and covered up his daughter’s school logo on her clothing after fans pointed out that it was visible. Smart move on Jake’s part to protect her privacy and kudos to his followers for catching that detail.
Last November, the Florida native joined Big Loud Records and will be kicking off his Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour with special guests Jordan Davis and Chris Janson in May. Hopefully Pearl will be able to join her father on the road from time to time!
