Country music artist Jake Owen and girlfriend Erica Hartlein are expecting their first baby together! The couple broke the big news to his family in his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida, during Thanksgiving night’s I’m Coming Home television special on ABC.
“This will throw you guys for a loop,” Jake told his parents, Mitzi and Steve, along with his twin brother Jarrod. “Erica and I will be having a little addition to our Owen family.”
“Now I’m gonna turn really red!” Erica kidded as Jake’s family reacted to the happy news.
“I hope it’s twins!” Mitzi exclaimed while Steve said, “Gotta have a little boy!”
According to PEOPLE, Jake and Erica’s baby is due in late spring or early summer. The little one will join the country star’s 6-year-old daughter, Olive Pearl, from his first marriage to Lacey Buchanan. By the way, Lacey remarried in July and is expecting a baby with her husband David Auston. So, Pearl is going to be a big sister to TWO babies very soon!
