Country music artist J.R. Moore grew up surrounded by top-notch country, blues, and rock music in Memphis, Tennessee. That early exposure led Moore to pursue a career in music and front the band, Ingram Hill. Over the course of the last decade, J.R. has toured nationally alongside hit-makers Maroon 5, Hootie And The Blowfish, Guster, Better Than Ezra, Lisa Marie Presley, and Hanson. J.R.’s songs with Ingram Hill have appeared multiple times across Billboard’s Top Heatseekers, Top Country Albums, and Adult Top 40 charts.
In this next phase of his musical journey, J.R. Moore’s debut solo EP, Rocket, is set to blast off on Friday, November 30th.
“This has been the most exciting record I’ve made in quite some time. It has a totally different vibe than anything I’ve ever recorded, in the best way possible. I feel like it’s the perfect sound for my debut album,” the Tennessee native shares with Country Fancast about his latest project.

“I got lucky that I had co-producers, Lawrence Katz and Matt Chambless, that are not only great musical minds, they’re also amazing players at their instruments. I definitely benefited from having a great band play on this record. I think even the average listener will be able to tell that,” J.R. adds.
