Country music singer-songwriter Hillary Scott is so thankful that her miracle twins are thriving! More on the new mother of three daughters here.
Lady Antebellum star Hillary Scott and husband Chris Tyrrell were totally stunned when they learned that they would be welcoming twin babies. Twins don’t run on either side of the family and the pair had suffered a devastating miscarriage in the fall of 2015.
“God has answered our family’s countless prayers! Our family is growing…Chris, Eisele, and I wanted to share our DOUBLE portion of joy with you all! We appreciate all the love and prayers in the coming weeks as we wait (somewhat patiently if you’re Chris and I, and impatiently if you’re Eisele 😂) for these precious BABIES to arrive. Yep, babies! We are having TWINS! It’s truly a miracle. Because we’ve been so open about our last pregnancy loss and journey, I want to be fully transparent with you that this happened naturally. Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is.” Scott shared while breaking the news to fans via Instagram last August.
Fast forward to present day and the twins, Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn, are now 3 months old. Hillary has been faithfully updating fans on the twins’ development and is so proud of their progress.
“So hard to believe it’s been 12 weeks with these little miracles in our arms! Life with these two and their big sis is just the sweetest gift. I’m overwhelmed by God’s love for His children. 💗 I’m a proud Mama bc these girls were 4 lbs 10 oz when they came home…and now they are nearing 12lbs!! 🙌🏻 Also, using the “Slumber” filter because it felt appropriate. 😂,” the country artist shared along with the adorable snapshot below.
Here’s a better look at the girls’ cute little faces as they enjoy a sunny day outside!
If you haven’t yet, be sure to take a tour of Betsy and Emory’s beautiful nursery!
Besides soaking up quality family time, Hillary is looking forward to hitting the road on Lady Antebellum‘s co-headlining Summer Plays On Tour with country music star Darius Rucker.
