While her Lady Antebellum bandmates and their spouses enjoyed Grammy Awards glitz in New York City, songstress Hillary Scott donned a different kind of gown on Sunday— a hospital gown because was busy giving birth to twin daughters!
No worries, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood made sure that Hillary was well represented at the event…
Although Lady Antebellum didn’t walk away with the ‘Best Country Album’ award in the end, the group certainly had something even bigger to celebrate.
“Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls. They were born in the early hours of January 29th, 2018 and we can’t wait to share more about them in the days to come. Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies, and thank you Lord for healthy babies,” Scott captioned the photo on Instagram below.
We look forward to learning what names Hillary and husband Chris Tyrrell selected for their newborns and getting a glimpse of the little ladies. The twins join the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye.
Congrats to Hillary, Chris, and the rest of the Lady A family!
In celebration of the new babies, let’s enjoy the trio’s tune “The Stars,” which is dedicated to their young children and appears on the group’s recently released seventh studio album, Heart Break.
“The Stars” Lyrics
Life is a beautiful messed up mystery
Yeah, it’s true, it can make you laugh, it can cut you deep
Sometimes you gonna feel like a million bucks
Sometimes a burned out cigarette
But whatever comes your way, no matter what, don’t you ever forget
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your heart burns much brighter than the moon
If you ever feel lost and broken inside
Just remember the way you helped me shine
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your eyes got a fire that can burn the cold away
And your smile could turn the darkest night into a summer days
Sometimes you’re gonna feel like you just can’t lose, sometimes you reaching for the reset
But whatever comes your way, no matter what you’re going through, don’t you ever forget
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your heart burns much brighter than the moon
If you ever feel lost and broken inside
Just remember the way you helped me shine
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
You’re a sunset hanging off a purple sky
You’re the perfect melody to a lullaby
So life gets too much, take a deep breath
And don’t you ever forget
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your heart burns much brighter than the moon
If you ever feel lost and broken inside
Just remember the way you helped me shine
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Yeah, the stars ain’t got nothing on you
