Rising country crooner Heath Sanders took the country world by storm when his cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Either Way” went viral. Since then, he’s had two appearances on The Bobby Bones Show and released music of his own. The support from Bobby caught him by surprise. Sanders exclusively tells Country Fancast, “I was pretty blown away. When I was in the oil field, I listened to Bobby every morning. It never crossed my mind that I’d ever get to meet him, much less be on the show. I’d seen how he’d changed the life of so many artists, so I knew what a big deal it was for him to reach out. I guess I still have a hard time believing it.”
The powerful vocalist also told us how one of the best parts of releasing his own music is being able to help fans through hard times in their life. “I had a guy write me a while back who said “Bloodline” inspired him to go dig around in his dad’s barn. He told me how he had passed several years ago and how he could never bring himself to go in it again. After hearing the song he worked up the nerve to do so. He ended up pulling the tarp off his dad’s old truck and finding the manufacture date… 1979. Man. It brought me to tears. That’s why we do what we do,” Sanders reveals.
His latest release is “Down on the South,” a classic country track that’ll take you back to what it was like to grow up in the south. “Without a doubt, my favorite part of releasing music is the feedback of the fans. Watching them sing along in the crowd and hearing how the songs inspired them to look back into their past and find stories they’d long forgotten. Pretty incredible stuff,” Sanders says of what he hopes fans will take away from his music.

Thankfully, fans can catch him out on the road this year and look forward to new music: “We have a lot of shows coming up. We’re just grinding right now – trying to get our horse caught up with the cart if you will. We certainly weren’t prepared for what was to come when Bobby reached out. We have a lot of new songs in the works so hopefully we can start giving some serious thought to a full album by the end of the year.”
Look out for more to come from Heath Sanders in 2019, and keep up with him on his website and socials via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
