Country music superstar Carrie Underwood is celebrating her 33rd trip around the sun today! The beautiful wife, mother, and singer has much to celebrate in the life she has built for herself at still such a young age.
Underwood was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Carole and Stephen Underwood. She was raised on her parents’ farm in the nearby rural town of Checotah with her two older sisters Shanna and Stephanie. Underwood began performing at an early age at local events and in her Baptist church.
The “Smoke Break” singer got her famous “break” during the fourth season of American Idol over 10 years ago and has since become one of the top female country music singers in modern country music.
Her most recent accomplishment includes becoming a mother to 13-month old Isaiah Michael Fisher. Underwood is now living the life of a working mom as she is back on the road for her Storyteller tour with her son and crew. Her husband, hockey-player Mike Fisher, supports her when he is able to get away from his own high-profile job.
