Country music star George Strait has extended his Strait To Vegas series which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena behind the New York-New York hotel. The country king continues to add a few more shows each year; six in 2016, 10 in 2017 and now adding a few more to 2018! The add-on performances will be held on December 7th and 8th!
“We said from the beginning that we would listen to the fans and follow what they want,” Strait admits. “Fan support is just as strong now as it was when we started; and we are responding to that interest by adding shows in 2018.”
Performing alongside Strait are fellow Texans, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen! The three artists shared the stage just this past year for George’s Hand in Hand Texas: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief, which raised tens of millions of dollars for hurricane relief efforts.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets for these shows April 6th. Don’t miss out on a chance to watch the artist in his element before the year is over!

As if those honors weren’t impressive enough, the country star’s home-state will be be awarding him Texan of The Year on March 22nd, during a formal ceremony in New Braunfels, Texas. “Amarillo By Morning” Lyrics
Amarillo by mornin’
Up from San Antone
Everything that I got
Is just what I’ve got on
When that sun is high in that Texas sky
I’ll be buckin’ at the county fair
Amarillo by mornin’
Amarillo, I’ll be there
They took my saddle in Houston
Broke my leg in Santa Fe
Lost my wife and a girlfriend
Somewhere along the way
But I’ll be lookin’ for 8 when they pull that gate
And I hope that judge ain’t blind
Amarillo by mornin’
Amarillo’s on my mind
Amarillo by mornin’
Up from San Antone
Everything that I got
Is just what I’ve got on
I ain’t got a dime but what I got is mine
I ain’t rich but Lord I’m free
Amarillo by mornin’
Amarillo’s where I’ll be
Amarillo by mornin’
Amarillo’s where I’ll be
